ABOUT US
We aim to know God's love and to make it known to all
OUR HISTORY
Situated on the lush hills between Pimpama and Ormeau, the historic church has served the community continuously since 1885. Originally a Methodist congregation and part of the Logan Methodist Circuit - the church joined the Uniting Church in 1977 and has been a part of the Beenleigh Uniting Parish, and then part of the Living Rivers Cluster with Coomera and Nerang Uniting Churches.
We are proud to host the Pimpama ANZAC Memorial and the Pimpama ANZAC Day Rememberance Services on our premises.

A Pilgrim
People
We are an evangelical congregation within the structure of the Uniting Church in Australia. As part of this uniquely Australian Christian movement, we seek to honour the Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian roots of the founding churches - while being relevant in worship, mission and outreach for our context.
Our members identify as reformed, evangelical, charismatic and pentecostal - with differing emphases of each - but we agree on the following:

- The importance of declaring Christ as our Lord and Saviour
- Recognition of God at work; in us and through us
- Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we endeavour to engage in God's Mission
- Worship, witness and sharing the Gospel are key to who we are as a church
We operate within the rules and regulations of the Uniting Church, following the principes of its foundational document - The Basis of Union, and the commitments expressed in subsequent statements such as the We are a Multicultural Church and the Covenanting Statement establishing an ongoing commitment to reconciliation with First Australians. Locally, we seek to be a welcoming, intergenerational and intercultural expression of faith and service for our region and participate in local mission and ministry within the Uniting Church and inter-denominational partnerships.
CATCH UP ON SERMONS
In the modern church, the pulpit has become the main way in which we develop discipleship, encourage evangelism and declare our mission. While geared towards our congregation, all are welcome to join us in our discipleship journey through our online sermons.
